Mr. Mathisen holds a Master of Science in Physics from NTH, Trondheim, Norway. Mr. Mathisen has been a member of the Board since 2007, and was elected Chairman of the Board in 2008. He is the CEO of BioInvent International AB, Lund, Sweden since 1997. Before joining BioInvent, Mr. Mathisen held a number of senior positions within the Norsk Hydro Group. Erik ThorsenErik Thorsen, Vice Chairman.

Mr. Thorsen holds a MBA from the University of Karlstad, Sweden. He was elected to the Board in 2011. Mr. Thorsen was the President and CEO of Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (REC) from 2005 till 2009, and the President and CEO of Tomra Systems ASA from 1996 till 2005. He is a strategic advisor to several companies, the Chairman of the Board of ELTEK ASA, Energreen AS and Zeropex AS and a member of the board of Metallkraft AS. Mr. Thorsen holds no shares and options in Biotec Pharmacon.

Ingrid AlfheimIngrid Alfheim, Director.

Dr. Alfheim holds a M.Sc. from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTH) and a Ph.D. from the University of Oslo. Member of the Board since 2007. She is the CEO of the drug development company Bio-Medisinsk Innovasjon AS. She was formerly director of R&D in the diagnostic company Axis-Shield. Dr. Alfheim has been a board member of a number of biotech start-ups and of several public research institutions. She is chairman of the board of Sirnasence AS and of Nextera AS. Gunnar RørstadGunnar Rørstad, Director.

Mr. Rørstad is co-founder and the former CEO of Biotec Pharmacon ASA (1994 - 2006). He holds a Master of Science (biochemistry) from the University of Tromsø, Norway. Mr. Rørstad was elected member of the Board in 2010. He is currently the CEO of Calanus AS, a marine biotechnology company domiciled in Tromsø, Norway. Mr. Rørstad is also member of the board of Akvaplan-Niva AS, Tromsø, Norway, and elected member of Norwegian Academy of Technological Sciences.Number of shares in Biotec Pharmacon held indirectly and by close associates: 1,000,733. Kjersti GrimsrudKjersti Grimsrud, Director.

Ms. Grimsrud holds a Master of Science degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTH) together with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Ms. Grimsrud was elected to the Board in 2011. She is the Managing Director of Axis-Shield PoC AS. She started her career in Axis-Shield in 1987 as a research scientist and has held a range of positions including  area manager, marketing director and commercial director. Ms. Grimsrud holds no shares and options in Biotec Pharmacon.

Olav LanesOlav Lanes, Director, employee representative.

Dr. Lanes holds a Master in Technology and a Doctor Scientiarum degree in molecular biotechnology from the University of Tromsø. After finishing his doctoral thesis in 2000 he worked as a researcher and research manager on marine enzymes at Biotec Pharmacon. Since mid 2010 he has been working as Head of R&D in ArcticZymes AS; a Biotec Pharmacon subsidiary. Member of the Board since 2011. Number of shares in Biotec Pharmacon held by Dr. Lanes: 15,203.
